Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Clean, inspect, secure, and maintain surveying equipment
- Interpret project plans and assist the Superintendent on implementation
- Create and maintain as-built information utilizing GPS rovers and other surveying equipment
- Establish secondary control for multiple locations on the project site
- Shoot line and grade on mainline pipe installations
- When needed, assist with pipe laying and general labor tasks
General Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel out of state
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in a civil surveyor position
- Understand, provide & maintain accurate daily records.
- Pass all pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to take and follow directions from a supervisor.
- Actively implement company & industry safety policies to ensure a consistently safe working environment for employees, owners, suppliers and the public
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers & supervisors with a positive attitude
