Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Knowledge & experience in heavy civil construction, underground utilities and site work
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a superintendent position
- Onsite management of projects from inception to completion with high standards, efficiency & safety
- Ability to read, understand & follow all project plans, blue prints, drawings and any other documents that pertain to the project.
- Build & maintain effective communication between co-workers, owners, supplies, subcontractors & public.
General Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel out of state
- Manage time & man power between co-workers, subcontractors & suppliers effectively maintain efficiency.
- Understand, provide & maintain accurate daily records, change orders, logs, safety records, time cards etc.
- Actively implement company & industry safety policies to ensure a consistently safe working environment for employees, owners, suppliers and the public
- OSHA certified competent person for trenching & shoring.
- Pass all pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
- Have a valid driver’s license
