Pipe Layer Position Requirements:
- Experience in assembling, connecting, and constructing water, sewer and storm pipe
- Experience in aligning and sealing pipe sections
- Knowledge of setting pipe to grade according to plans using lasers, levels, grade rods and transits
- Ability to communicate with the equipment operator to ensure pipe installation is safe and accurate excavation of the trench has been performed
- Knowledge and the ability to recognize staking and existing utilities
General Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel out of state
- Must be able to take and follow directions from supervisor
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers & supervisors with a positive attitude
- Actively implement company & industry safety policies to ensure a consistently safe working environment for employees, owners, suppliers and the public
- Pass all pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
- Have a valid driver’s license
