Mainline Excavator Position Responsibilities
- Mainline Excavator Position Responsibilities: Excavate line and grade for mainline waterline according project plans
- Excavate around existing utilities with precision
- Understand and implement trench depth & grade
- Understand and implement pothole procedure, pipeline & grade compaction
- Knowledge of excavation, trenching & shoring practices
- Understand and implement the proper rigging for all materials being lowered into the trench
- OSHA Certified competent person for trenching & shoring
- Thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance to ensure safe and reliable equipment at all times
General Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel out of state
- Must be able to take and follow directions from supervisor
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers & supervisors with a positive attitude
- Actively implement company & industry safety policies to ensure a consistently safe working environment for employees, owners, suppliers and the public
- OSHA Certified competent person for trenching & shoring
- Pass all pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
- OSHA Certified competent person for trenching & shoring
- Have a valid driver’s license
